Cincinnati Bengals pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson plans to report to training camp Wednesday without being closer to a new contract, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Reporting to camp will end the daily $50,000 fines Hendrickson was accruing by holding out. The hope is showing up to camp will jump-start extension talks between the two sides, Schefter adds.

Hendrickson was the final player in the league to hold out of camp. Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin ended his holdout Saturday, but isn't participating in on-field activities. It's unclear whether Hendrickson plans to practice when he attends camp.

The 30-year-old also held out of mandatory minicamp and said in May that he won't play the 2025 season without a new contract. Hendrickson is entering the final year of his deal, which has a $15.8 million base salary, according to Over The Cap.

Many pass-rushers have received large extensions this offseason. T.J. Watt, who is currently the same age as Hendrickson, became the highest-paid non-quarterback in the league this month with a new three-year, $123-million contract.

Hendrickson led the NFL in sacks last season (17.5) en route to a first-team All-Pro nomination.
