Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan gave some insight Sunday into who the franchise will select with the top selection in the 2025 draft.

"I think it's a short list at No. 1 for sure," Callahan told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

"It's all the guys that I think are worthy of it, the ones that everyone talks about out there, and between Travis (Hunter) and Shedeur (Sanders) and Cam (Ward) and Abdul Carter, I think those are, that's the top of the draft for me, those are the most elite players in the draft."

Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi reiterated earlier this week that "everything is still on the table" regarding what his team will do with the No. 1 pick, according to team website writer Jim Wyatt.

Tennessee held a private workout with Ward after Miami's pro day. The Titans are reportedly becoming "increasingly impressed" with the signal-caller. Will Levis, who the club selected in the second round of the 2023 draft, has failed to solidify the starter job since entering the league. Brandon Allen and Tim Boyle are the other quarterbacks on the roster.

The Titans' defense struggled in 2023, ranking 25th in EPA/play and 30th in points allowed. Penn State's Carter could boost their pass rush, and Colorado's Hunter is expected to be a full-time cornerback in the NFL and play wide receiver.

"We're getting closer for sure, all of the processes are moving right along," Callahan added. "I would say we have a pretty good feel for what direction we're headed by early April here, and you put the final touches on it and tie the bow over it by the time you get to the draft."

The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off April 24.
