The New York Giants may still add to their quarterback room despite picking up two signal-callers in free agency.

The Giants hold the third overall selection in the upcoming NFL draft, and former Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is in play, sources told NorthJersey.com's Art Stapleton. New York remains interested in moving up in the draft order if an opportunity presents itself. The Tennessee Titans are believed to be leaning toward using the No. 1 pick on passer Cam Ward.

New York has strengthened its depth under center in recent weeks. The Giants reportedly signed Russell Wilson to a one-year deal worth up to $21.5 million. The 10-time Pro Bowler's agreement arrives after the NFC East club agreed to terms on a two-year pact with Jameis Winston. Tommy DeVito, who started eight combined games over the past two seasons, rounds out the Giants' depth chart.

The Giants have prioritized improving their passing attack. New York parted ways with 2019 first-round pick Daniel Jones midway through his sixth season with the franchise. Drew Lock started five of the final six games as the club finished with a 3-14 record.

New York has been doing its due diligence while evaluating prospects ahead of next month's draft. General manager Joe Schoen was among personnel who attended Miami's pro day, which Ward headlined. Sanders and Ward are projected to hear their names called early in the first round April 24.

Giants evaluators have taken trips to Colorado's campus to evaluate Sanders, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The 23-year-old was spotted wearing Giants-themed cleats prior to the Alamo Bowl last December.

Sanders and reigning Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter will headline Colorado's pro day April 4.
