The Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers are among the teams that have either called the Rams or been contacted by Los Angeles to discuss a potential Cooper Kupp trade, sources told The Athletic's Dianna Russini.

The Kansas City Chiefs reportedly were part of that list of teams before acquiring wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in a trade from the Tennessee Titans on Wednesday. The Bills were also involved in a WR deal recently, as they acquired Amari Cooper from the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 15.

The Rams apparently put Kupp on the trade block earlier this week ahead of the NFL trade deadline on Nov. 5. It was originally reported that Los Angeles - hoping to receive a second-round pick as part of the deal - would be willing to take on some of Kupp's $9 million remaining guaranteed salary this year to facilitate a trade.

Though the Rams did play with the idea of paying part of Kupp's 2024 salary, they've now informed potential suitors that this is not an option, according to Russini.

Since L.A. reportedly made Kupp available on Tuesday, the team defeated the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football to improve to 3-4. The 2021 Offensive Player of the Year - who played against Minnesota after a four-game absence - caught five passes for 51 yards and one touchdown in his return.

Head coach Sean McVay said postgame he expects Kupp to remain with the team.

The two-time 1,000-yard wideout is scheduled to make $20 million in 2025, including $5 million guaranteed. He's under contract through the 2026 season.

Kupp, 31, captured the NFL receiving Triple Crown in 2021 but has since battled multiple injuries. He's made 95 appearances since the Rams drafted him in the third round in 2017.
