New York Giants left tackle Andrew Thomas may require surgery on his injured foot - which would likely end his season, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Thomas is meeting with foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson in Charlotte about the injury.

The fear is that Thomas has a Lisfranc injury, according to Paul Schwartz of the New York Post. He hurt his foot in Sunday night's loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Thomas has collected 60 starts across his five seasons in New York, dating back to his rookie campaign.

If the 25-year-old is sidelined for an extended period, Joshua Ezeudu or former top-ten pick Evan Neal could replace him in the lineup.

The Giants' 2024 season has gotten off to a rocky start - the club is sitting in the basement of the NFC East with a 2-4 record.
