Miami Dolphins edge rusher Jaelan Phillips suffered a season-ending knee injury in the team's Week 4 loss to the Tennessee Titans, he announced Wednesday.

Phillips left in the third quarter of Monday night's game and avoided putting pressure on his right leg, according to Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald.

The 25-year-old will undergo reconstructive knee surgery. This marks the second consecutive year he's suffered a season-ending injury after going down with a torn Achilles in Week 12 of the 2023 campaign.

Phillips suited up in all four of Miami's games this season, recording one sack, one quarterback hit, and two tackles. He has 23 sacks in 49 career contests.

Other edge rushers on the Dolphins' depth chart include Quinton Bell, Emmanuel Ogbah, and 2024 first-round pick Chop Robinson. Miami (1-3) will face the New England Patriots (1-3) in Week 5.
