Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has been fully cleared for contact following his season-ending 2023 wrist injury, head coach Zac Taylor said Monday, according to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic.

Taylor told reporters he will be proactive in easing Burrow through camp, focusing on having the passer in top form closer to the beginning of the season. Taylor added that he expects all the starters, including Burrow, to play at some point in the preseason.

Burrow tore a ligament in his right wrist in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens. He started 10 games last season, going 5-5 while throwing for 2,309 yards with 15 touchdowns and six interceptions. The 27-year-old missed most of training camp last year after suffering a calf injury at camp.

"I'm not concerned about Joe, because I watched him this offseason. ... We rise and fall with him. He's ready to go," Bengals owner Mike Brown said Monday, per Olivia Ray of WLWT.

Burrow has participated in Cincinnati's OTA program but hasn't been able to throw in every practice.

The Bengals host their first training camp practice Wednesday.
