The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to interview ESPN commentator Louis Riddick for their vacant general manager position, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Riddick is currently part of the network's three-man booth for Monday Night Football.

The 52-year-old last worked in the NFL as the Philadelphia Eagles' director of pro personnel in 2013 after beginning his career as a scout with Washington.

He has interviewed for general manager positions in recent years with the Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars, among others.

The Steelers are in the midst of their first general manager search since 2000 after Kevin Colbert announced he would step down following the 2022 NFL Draft in April.

Pittsburgh's other external candidates include the Indianapolis Colts' Ed Dodds, Los Angeles Chargers' JoJo Wooden, and Tennessee Titans' Ryan Cowden.

The Steelers also interviewed two in-house candidates: vice president of football and business administration Omar Khan and pro scouting coordinator Brandon Hunt.
