Jaguars' Gunter announces retirement due to heart condition
Jacksonville Jaguars defensive lineman Rodney Gunter announced his retirement from the NFL on Sunday due to a heart condition.
The 28-year-old explained in a social media post the decision came after specialists advised him of the significant risks associated with continuing to play. At this time, he doesn't qualify for surgery that would potentially correct the issue.
