Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman was ejected during the third quarter of the team's Week 7 game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Freeman was tied up with defensive tackle Aaron Donald during a play before appearing to throw a punch at the All-Pro defender.

The ejection capped a frustrating afternoon for the veteran tailback. He accumulated 19 yards on seven carries against Los Angeles, adding two receptions for 6 yards.

The 1-5 Falcons also lost Ito Smith for the game with a head/neck injury, leaving Brian Hill and Kenjon Barner in the backfield.
