LeBron James has been hyping up son LeBron "Bronny" James Jr. and Sierra Canyon High School all season, but he's leaving the coaching to the man in charge.

Sierra Canyon coach Andre Chevalier told Ben Golliver of The Washington Post that James and Dwyane Wade, whose eldest son Zaire also plays for the Trailblazers, have taken a hands-off approach with the team.

"They want me to make my own judgments," Chevalier said. "They did their research before they came here. They watch from a distance."

Despite all the attention that comes with a superstar father, Chevalier said Bronny has remained focused.

"Bronny doesn't really want the praise," Chevalier said. "He just keeps his head down. He's not looking into the crowd. He's not trying to sign autographs. It's wonderful."

The Trailblazers will face James' alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary, on Dec. 14 in one of several games to be broadcasted on ESPN's affiliate networks this season.
