App Update: Follow the teams you love with the people you care about!
A BIG update just landed on theScore app for iOS and Android. Introducing Follow Together - a unique new way to follow the teams you love with the people you care about!
We'll now be powering your group chats in theScore with live boxscores, as well as in-line scoring plays and updates as they happen. Even if there's no game happening, Follow Together makes it easy to follow team related news and social content while chatting with your friends.
To get started:
Tap the message icon located at the top right corner of theScore app. You'll then see a Follow Together prompt at the top of the screen - just tap that and follow the instructions. You can also start a chat by tapping and holding on a user's name in the chat tab within the matchup pages.
Want to invite friends to an existing conversation? Tap the 'share' button located at the top of your chat to generate a sharable link. Anyone with the link can join your conversation and receive the same personalized content as you.
And then wait for game time - because that's when Follow Together really comes alive!
