Report: Ohio State's Tate declares for 2026 NFL Draft
Ohio State wide receiver Carnell Tate will forgo his senior season to enter the 2026 NFL Draft, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Tate caught 51 passes for 875 yards and nine touchdowns in 2025 for the Buckeyes despite missing three games due to injury.
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound wideout is widely regarded as one of the top prospects in the upcoming draft and is expected to headline a talented group of receivers alongside Makai Lemon and Jordyn Tyson.
Ohio State has produced five first-round receivers in the last four years, with Garrett Wilson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Emeka Egbuka among the notable alums to rise to NFL stardom.
Over his three collegiate seasons, Tate recorded 121 receptions for 1,872 yards and 14 scores, averaging 15.5 yards per catch.
