Oklahoma defensive tackle David Stone announced Sunday he withdrew from the transfer portal.
"Sooner Nation after taking the necessary time & examining my options ... I have removed my name from the portal & will be furthering my education & career at (O)U!!" Stone posted on X.
The former five-star recruit entered the portal Friday and was the top defensive player available before reversing his decision. Stone was previously the top defensive tackle and sixth overall prospect in the ESPN 300 for the 2024 class.
Stone played in all 13 of Oklahoma's games last season. The freshman recorded six total tackles, including two tackles for loss and a sack.
Players can enter the spring transfer portal until April 25.
