Alabama's Jalen Milroe plans to continue playing quarterback at the NFL level.
"You don't ask a zebra to be a dog," Milroe said when asked if he's considered changing positions, according to NBC Sports' Chris Simms.
The 6-foot-2, 201-pounder is an exceptional athlete at the quarterback position. He ran for 726 yards and 20 touchdowns in 13 games this season. He also completed 64.3% of his passes for 2,844 yards, 16 scores, and 11 interceptions.
Milroe threw for 6,016 yards, 45 touchdowns, and 20 picks in 38 college contests. He posted 1,577 yards and 33 scores on the ground.
The 22-year-old is widely expected to be selected during the first two days of the 2025 NFL Draft in April.
