Gundy restructures contract to stay at Oklahoma State
Mike Gundy isn't going anywhere.
The 57-year-old head coach has agreed to a restructured contract to stay at Oklahoma State, the school announced Saturday.
Terms of the agreement won't be revealed until the deal is officially signed.

Gundy's future with the Cowboys became uncertain Friday after the school reportedly asked him to take a restructured deal that included a significant pay cut. Oklahoma State also apparently asked Gundy - who's under contract through 2028 - to significantly reduce his buyout, which is approximately $25 million.
There had reportedly been discussion about firing Gundy for cause if he didn't restructure his deal. It's unclear what would've led to Gundy's dismissal from the school for cause.
Gundy has been Oklahoma State's head coach since 2005 and has won 169 games, the most in school history. The Cowboys posted at least seven wins and reached a bowl in each of the past 18 seasons. However, the Cowboys went only 3-9 this year, down from a 10-4 record in 2023.
The team's 2024 season ended with a 52-0 loss to Colorado, and Oklahoma State eventually fired offensive coordinator Kasey Dunn and defensive coordinator Bryan Nardo.
