Dave Aranda will return as Baylor's head coach for the 2025 season, a source told SicEm365.
The Bears became bowl-eligible following Saturday's 49-35 win against West Virginia. Aranda has led the program to a 6-4 record thus far this season, which includes a 4-3 mark in Big 12 competition.
Aranda entered the season on the hot seat following a 3-9 campaign in 2023. It appeared Baylor would be in store for much of the same after a 2-4 start to the season, but the Bears have reeled off four straight conference wins to turn their fortunes around.
Aranda is under contract with Baylor through the 2029 season after signing an extension in 2022.
Baylor will play against Houston next Saturday before closing out the regular season against Kansas.
