Missouri quarterback Brady Cook won't play Saturday versus Oklahoma, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Cook sustained injuries in Missouri's previous two games, suffering an ankle injury while leading his team over Auburn on Oct. 19 and a wrist ailment in an Oct. 26 defeat to Alabama.
Backup quarterback Drew Pyne is expected to start in Cook's absence. Pyne, who previously started at Notre Dame and Arizona State, relieved Cook in the second half of the Alabama game, throwing three interceptions in the Tigers' shutout loss.
Cook has started the season strong, passing for 1,575 yards and seven touchdowns in his second year as Missouri's starter. The program sits at No. 24 in the College Football Playoff rankings with a 6-2 record.
