Colorado's Hunter back in lineup vs. Arizona
Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter will play Saturday versus Arizona, head coach Deion Sanders told reporters Tuesday.
Hunter left the Buffaloes' loss to Kansas State this past weekend in the second quarter after suffering a shoulder injury. He retreated to the locker room for further testing and spent the remainder of the game on the sideline.
Hunter's absence was felt immediately on both sides of the ball, as Kansas State's Avery Johnson posted his best quarterback rating of the season with the star cornerback on the bench. The offense also failed to top 30 points for the first time in three weeks.
Hunter isn't the only standout Colorado player who'll be back in the lineup against the Wildcats, as Jimmy Horn Jr. is set to return after also leaving versus Kansas State.
The pair of explosive receivers have combined for 934 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on the season. Hunter has also added two interceptions on the defensive side of the ball for the Buffaloes.
