Utah's Rising starts vs. Arizona State

Utah started Cameron Rising at quarterback for Friday's matchup against Arizona State.
Rising made his return to the Utes' lineup after sustaining an injury to the ring finger on his throwing hand in the team's win over Baylor on Sept. 7.
Injuries have been an issue for Rising over the past three seasons. He sustained a significant knee injury in the 2022 Rose Bowl that caused him to take a redshirt for the 2023 season.
The California native threw for 346 yards, seven touchdowns, and zero interceptions through two games before his injury.
Isaac Wilson replaced the injured Rising under center. The freshman passer has thrown for 830 yards, six touchdowns, and seven interceptions while completing 55.7% of his pass attempts.
