Former Utah State big man Great Osobor committed to Washington and will continue playing under ex-Aggies coach Danny Sprinkle, he told ESPN's Jonathan Givony.

Osobor picked the Huskies over Louisville and Texas Tech. He was the top transfer still available before choosing Washington, according to ESPN.

"I would like to thank God for putting me in this position," said Osobor. "Washington will allow me to maximize my potential as a player in my final year of college basketball. Coach Sprinkle has been with me every step of the way since I came from England, and I cannot wait to help the Huskies get back to the NCAA Tournament."

Osobor's NIL agreement will pay him $2 million, the highest-known valuation this season, according to a document reviewed by ESPN.

The Mountain West Conference Player of the Year averaged 17.7 points, nine rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.3 steals per game last campaign to help Utah State reach the NCAA Tournament. The Aggies opened the tourney with a win over TCU before losing to Purdue in the second round.

Osobor started his collegiate career by spending two seasons at Montana State, coming off the bench for the Bobcats.

Washington last made the Big Dance in 2019.
