Sacramento Kings forward De'Andre Hunter will undergo season-ending eye surgery, sources told NBA insiders Chris Haynes and Marc Stein.

Hunter will be the third Kings player to be shut down for the campaign over the past week.

Domantas Sabonis had surgery Wednesday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, while Zach LaVine is reportedly set for a procedure on his right hand.

Sacramento acquired Hunter from the Cleveland Cavaliers in a three-team deal before the trade deadline.

The former No. 4 overall pick made just two appearances for the Kings, averaging 7.5 points on 21.1% shooting.

Hunter is under contract through the 2026-27 campaign.

Sacramento has a lost a franchise-record 15 games in a row and sits dead last in the Associaton.
