The Denver Nuggets and guard Christian Braun agreed to a five-year, $125-million rookie extension, his agent told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Braun averaged 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.1 steals this past season, his first as a starter. He started in 77 of his 79 appearances, a significant increase from 10 across his first two NBA campaigns.

The Kansas product set career highs with 33.9 minutes per game, a 58% field-goal percentage, and a 39.7% 3-point shooting rate.

Braun, 24, has played in 45 career playoff games and was part of the Nuggets' 2023 championship as a rookie. He averaged 12.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.2 steals this postseason.

Denver finished fourth in the Western Conference with a 50-32 record before being eliminated in the second round in seven games by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
