Daniels led the league in steals with 3.0 per game. He recorded 229 on the season, the most by a player in the 2000s since Allen Iverson's 225 in 2002-03. The Australian guard joins Dort and Thompson as first-timers on the All-Defensive team.

This is the second year that All-Defensive teams didn't have position requirements.
