LeBron James has achieved a lot over the course of his 22-year NBA career, but none of the milestones compare to playing alongside his eldest son, Bronny James.

When asked Wednesday where playing with Bronny ranks among his career accomplishments, LeBron had a quick response.

"Number one, for sure. That's easy. It's not even close," LeBron said following the Los Angeles Lakers' playoff elimination by the Minnesota Timberwolves. "To be able to play the game that I love and to be able to be along my son this year has been one of the most gratifying, satisfying journeys that I've ever been on.

"Just to see his growth, from the moment he was drafted when we were all in New York at the draft party, to seeing him in summer league, struggle early on in summer league and pick it up towards the end. To get on the floor with him in preseason for the first time ... to getting on the court versus this Minnesota team, game one."

LeBron also had high praise for Bronny's character.

"He has a bright future, because not only can he play the game of basketball, he's just a great f---ing kid," LeBron said. "You can ask anybody - any one of his teammates, any one of his coaches - he's just a joy to be around. And I have to say that I have a lot to do with that."

Bronny, the 55th overall pick of the 2024 NBA Draft, averaged 2.3 points, 0.8 assists, and 0.7 rebounds in 27 games for the Lakers this season.
