Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler had high praise for teammate Stephen Curry after the sharpshooting guard sank 12 3-pointers and dropped 56 points on the Orlando Magic during Thursday's 121-115 win.

"He's fun to watch. Even more fun because he's a huge reason we won the game," Butler said after the victory, according to The Athletic's Anthony Slater.

"I'm just glad I'm on this side of it."

Curry's 12 3-pointers were one shy of his single-game high and included a buzzer-beating shot from beyond half court as the second quarter wound down.

The 11-time All-Star also outscored the Magic by himself in the third quarter, scoring 22 points to Orlando's 21.

"What an incredible shot going into halftime, and then to do what he did in the third quarter as well, that's some good basketball," Butler said.

The Warriors have won seven of their last eight contests since acquiring Butler from the Miami Heat, with Curry averaging 31 points per game during that stretch.
