Ja Morant's days on social media may be numbered.

The Memphis Grizzlies guard recently deactivated his X account and told reporters Tuesday that he plans to stop using social media once he retires from the NBA.

"Yeah, I hate it there," Morant said, according to Damichael Cole of the Memphis Commercial Appeal. "The only reason I'm on it still is because I got endorsements and stuff I got to post. I don't really want it for real. Hopefully, y'all enjoy it now because when I hang it up, y'all won't see me no more."

The 25-year-old deactivated his X account after teasing the possibility of competing in a future Slam Dunk contest. His Instagram account is still online, but he hasn't posted since Dec. 14, 2024.

Through 35 games this season, Morant is averaging 20.5 points, 7.4 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per contest.
