Doncic's Lakers debut jersey could be worth up to $1M at auction
The jersey from Luka Doncic's first game as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers could fetch a pretty penny if it finds its way to the auction block.
David Kohler, the founder of SCP Auctions, told TMZ Sports that Doncic's Lakers debut jersey is estimated to be worth between $500,000 and $1 million at auction.
Doncic took part in a jersey swap with Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua following the Lakers' 132-113 win over the Utah Jazz on Monday night, though it's unclear whether that was the same jersey he wore during the game.
Doncic finished with 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists in 24 minutes of action in his Lakers debut.
"The way they received me, everybody, it was amazing to see," Doncic told Steve Henson of the Los Angeles Times afterward. "I was a little bit nervous before. I don't remember the last time I was nervous before the game. But once I stepped on the court, it was fun. And just being out there again felt amazing."
The Lakers will face the Jazz again Wednesday night in Utah.
