NBA Game Summary - Philadelphia at Cleveland

Cleveland, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - C.J. Miles and the Cleveland Cavaliers found a way to turn the lights out on Philadelphia's road winning streak.

They shot 'em out.

Miles made 10 3-pointers to set the franchise record and scored 34 points and the Cavaliers cruised to a 111-93 win over the 76ers on Tuesday night without new addition Luol Deng.

Miles tied the old Cavs record he shared with LeBron James, Wesley Person and Danny Ferry by going 8-of-10 in the first half. He played sparingly in the second half and made the last two in the fourth quarter, going 10-of-14 to fall two short of the NBA record of 12 shared by Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall.

Kyrie Irving had 16 points for Cleveland after missing the previous three games with a bruised left knee and Anderson Varejao scored 18 points with 14 rebounds. The Cavs won for just the second time in 10 games despite missing Jarrett Jack (back spasms) for the second game in a row.

They will have to wait longer to play alongside Deng. The All-Star forward was acquired from Chicago early Tuesday morning in exchange for suspended center Andrew Bynum, three future draft picks and the right to swap 2015 first-round picks with the Cavs.

The Sixers had won nine of their previous 11 games against Cleveland and came into the game riding a four-game road winning streak, the victories coming in Western Conference cities Los Angeles, Sacramento, Denver and Portland.

That streak ended with a thud, and the Sixers dropped their second game in a row overall.

Thaddeus Young, the reigning Eastern Conference Player of the Week after averaging 25 points per game last week, was 0-for-7 and went scoreless for the Sixers.

Rookie Michael Carter-Williams had a career-high 33 points in the loss.

Miles made all five of his 3s for 15 points in the first quarter and the Cavs shot 60 percent for a 36-20 lead. They went on a 9-0 run after Spencer Hawes made a 3-pointer to tie the game for the Sixers. Irving scored the last five points on a 3 and reverse layup to make it 22-13.

Miles' sixth 3 gave the Cavs a 21-point lead midway through the second quarter and his eighth pushed Cleveland's lead to 26 in the final minute. It was 64-40 at halftime and the Cavs went up by as many as 29 in the third quarter.

Miles played just 7 1/2 minutes in the third and missed his only 3 attempt. He made two in a 38-second span in the fourth and checked out of the game for good with 7:07 remaining. The Cavs led by as many as 31.
