NBA Game Summary - Washington at New York
New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Wizards are more than happy to have Bradley Beal back.
Beal netted 14 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter, including a go-ahead layup with 5.9 seconds left as the Wizards topped the New York Knicks 102-101 on Monday night.
With the seconds ticking down, Beal received the ball along the left wing with Beno Udrih on him. Beal quickly drove past him with the left-handed dribble before finishing with an easy layup.
Carmelo Anthony's running 3-pointer over two Washington defenders from the right wing ricocheted off the backboard at the horn.
Beal had missed his previous nine tilts with a leg injury.
