NBA Game Summary - Orlando at Atlanta
Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - Arron Afflalo netted 10 of his game-high 26 points during a third-quarter surge that propelled the Orlando Magic to their first road win of the season with a 109-92 triumph over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday at Philips Arena.
The Hawks held a 63-58 edge with 7:24 left in the third before Afflalo finished back-to-back layups to spark a 21-6 swing that he capped with a three-point play that gave Orlando a 79-69 lead with 2:24 on the clock.
The Magic extended the margin to 85-73 by the end of the third and scored the first nine points of the fourth to build a comfortable 21-point cushion from which the Hawks couldn't come back.
Victor Oladipo and Andrew Nicholson each netted 18 points, while Nikola Vucevic donated 12 points and 15 rebounds for the Magic, who had lost their last 11 meetings with Atlanta.
Al Horford and Jeff Teague tallied 15 points apiece to lead Atlanta, which has dropped two straight games.
