NBA Game Summary - Utah at New Orleans

New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - Anthony Davis had a game-high 22 points with nine rebounds and eight blocks to lead the New Orleans Pelicans to a 105-98 win over the Utah Jazz at New Orleans Arena

Ryan Anderson netted 19 off the bench on 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point land and Jrue Holiday added 14 points with four assists in handing Utah its 12th loss in 13 games.

New Orleans also snapped a personal four-game losing streak to the Jazz, avenging a 111-105 loss Nov. 13 in Utah.

Enes Kanter paced Utah with 19 points and nine rebounds while Derrick Favors scored 13 points with 11 boards.

Gordon Hayward, Utah's leading scorer, tallied just six points on 1-of-17 shooting from the field.

The Jazz, losers of four straight, opened the second half down 45-41 but a 16-6 run out of halftime gave them their first lead since late in the first quarter. The Jazz hit four 3-pointers during the spurt, three coming from John Lucas III.

New Orleans used an 8-0 burst to retake the lead 62-59 after a pair of Davis free throws. The Pelicans maintained a 73-69 lead heading into the final quarter and used another run to open the fourth to pull away.

Utah rookie point guard Trey Burke, who finished with 11 points in his pro debut, opened the fourth stanza with a driving layup to trim the deficit to two.

New Orleans proceeded to go on a 14-2 run with Anderson hitting back-to-back triples to cap the spurt, giving the Pelicans their largest lead at the time, 84-73.

Kanter put in a layup to cut the Jazz deficit to six, 96-90, later in the quarter, but New Orleans scored seven straight and Utah couldn't recover.

Tyreke Evans and Jason Smith scored 13 and 11 points, respectively, in the win.
