Cejudo-Song to headline UFC Seattle in February
A bantamweight fight between Henry Cejudo and Song Yadong will headline UFC Seattle on Feb. 22, the promotion's chief business officer Hunter Campbell told ESPN's Mike Coppinger.
Another bantamweight bout between Rob Font and former champion Dominik Cruz will serve as the card's co-main event, Campbell said. A fight between top-four women's bantamweights Ketlen Vieira and Macy Chiasson, as well as Curtis Blaydes versus Rizvan Kuniev, among others, had already been announced for UFC Seattle.
Cejudo, a former two-division champion, last fought in February 2024 when he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 298. The 37-year-old - who's currently the promotion's seventh-ranked bantamweight - has lost his last two bouts. He said in August that returning to the flyweight division was a possibility.
Song is the eighth-ranked bantamweight and is coming off a unanimous decision defeat to Petr Yan at UFC 299 in May. He won both of his fights in 2023.
Font is the division's ninth-ranked fighter and won his only 2024 fight in October against Kyler Phillips. He will be taking on Cruz, who hasn't fought since losing to Marlon Vera in August 2022.
