PCA continues L.A. beef: Fans go to Dodgers, Lakers games to 'look good'
Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong isn't backing down from his preseason criticism of casual Los Angeles sports fans.
"What I wish people could see through is, I'm not getting at die-hard Dodger fans," Crow-Armstrong said Friday, according to Maddie Lee of the Los Angeles Times. "They obviously exist, they're out there. I grew up seeing those people, too, but it's a 'see-me' city, man. It's a Lakers city where people show up to sit courtside and look good. And I view it the same way here.
"Thank you, Shohei (Ohtani) and Freddie (Freeman) and Mookie (Betts) because it wasn't always like this."
Crow-Armstrong mocked spectators at Dodger Stadium after Friday's 6-4 win that pushed Chicago's win streak to 10 games.

In February, Crow-Armstrong said Dodgers fans go to the ballpark to "take pictures," while Cubs fans "give a shit."
