The San Diego Padres and outfielder Miguel Andujar agreed to a one-year, $4-million contract, sources told Jeff Passan of ESPN.
Andujar can earn an additional $2 million through performance bonuses, according to Will Sammon of The Athletic.
The 30-year-old hit 10 homers with 44 RBIs and an .822 OPS over 94 games between the Athletics and Cincinnati Reds last season.
Andujar was particularly good against left-handers, slashing .389/.409/.578 with four long balls in 93 plate appearances in 2025.
He's also played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Yankees over his nine-year career. Andujar finished as the 2018 AL Rookie of the Year runner-up with the Bronx Bombers.
