The New York Yankees are closing in on a one-year deal with veteran swingman Ryan Yarbrough, sources told FanSided's Robert Murray.
Yarbrough will earn $2.5 million in 2026, with the opportunity to receive an additional $250,000 in performance bonuses, according to the New York Post's Joel Sherman.
He appeared in 19 games for the Yankees last season, including eight starts, and posted a 4.36 ERA in 64 innings. He held left-handed hitters to a .576 OPS in 2025.
The southpaw enters his ninth big-league campaign, having spent most of his career in the AL East.
Yarbrough pitched five seasons with the Tampa Bay Rays and has also played for the Toronto Blue Jays, Kansas City Royals, and Los Angeles Dodgers.
