Eovaldi returns after missing month; Langford out with oblique strain
The Texas Rangers activated right-hander Nathan Eovaldi from the 15-day injured list Friday.
Eovaldi hasn't pitched since May 27 due to a triceps injury.
The 35-year-old has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season, authoring a 1.56 ERA with 0.81 WHIP and 73 strikeouts over 69 1/3 innings (12 starts).
Meanwhile, outfielder Wyatt Langford landed on the 10-day injured list due to a left oblique strain.
The 23-year-old has dealt with multiple oblique injuries this season. He went on the IL with a strain on his right side in early April after missing parts of spring training due to the same injury.
Langford's recorded 13 homers, 32 RBIs, 11 stolen bases, and a .729 OPS across 67 games in 2025.
Texas optioned right-hander Dane Dunning and recalled utility man Michael Helman to complete the roster shuffle.
