The Atlanta Braves signed right-hander Héctor Neris to a minor-league contract, according to David O'Brien of The Athletic.
Neris recorded a 4.10 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, 18 saves, and 64 strikeouts over a combined 59 1/3 innings between the Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros in 2024.
The 35-year-old is just two seasons removed from posting a career-best 1.71 ERA with 1.05 WHIP and 77 strikeouts over 71 appearances for the Astros during the 2023 campaign. He won the 2022 World Series with Houston.
Neris has also suited up for the Philadelphia Phillies in his 11-year career.
