The Los Angeles Dodgers placed ace Tyler Glasnow on the injured list with right elbow tendinitis, the team announced Friday.

Glasnow also missed time in early July due to lower back tightness.

Bobby Miller is expected to be recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday and replace Glasnow in the Dodgers' starting rotation, according to Mike DiGovanna of the Los Angeles Times.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said the club hopes Glasnow, who lobbied to make his scheduled start, will return after serving the minimum of 15 days on the injured list, according to The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya.

Glasnow, named to his first All-Star team this year, has pitched a career-high 134 innings this season. His 22 starts are also a career high, eclipsing the 21 he made with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2023.

The 30-year-old has posted a 3.49 ERA and 0.95 WHIP while striking out 168 batters this campaign.
