Philadelphia Phillies superstar first baseman Bryce Harper limped off the field with a hamstring injury sustained running to first base before the final out of Thursday's game against the Miami Marlins, the Phillies announced.

Outfielder Kyle Schwarber also exited the contest with left groin tightness, the club said, according to Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Phillies manager Rob Thomson said the team will know more about the extent of injuries Friday.

Harper added he doesn't know how concerned he should be because he hasn't really felt anything like this before.

The 31-year-old is putting together another MVP-caliber season, slashing .303/.399/.582 with 20 home runs and 58 RBIs over 76 games for the NL-East leading Phillies.

Meanwhile, Schwarber has gone deep 17 times with 49 RBIs and an .820 OPS across 79 contests after back-to-back 46-plus-homer campaigns across 2022-23.
