Brewers' Junis taken to hospital after struck in neck by ball during batting practice
Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Jakob Junis was taken to hospital by ambulance after being hit in the neck by a baseball while he was in the outfield during the Pittsburgh Pirates' batting practice at PNC Park on Monday, the Brewers announced.

"He is conscious, alert, and responsive. He was sent to the hospital for further evaluation," the Brewers said in a statement.
Junis, already on the 15-day injured list with a shoulder injury, fell to the ground immediately after getting hit and stayed there for about 15 minutes while being helped by medical staff, according to Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Meanwhile, the Brewers also placed left-hander Wade Miley on the IL with elbow inflammation.
