Didi Gregorius is ready to cash in this offseason after inking a one-year deal last winter with the Philadelphia Phillies.
The shortstop is aiming for a multi-year contract, according to Scott Lauber of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The Phillies are reportedly keeping an eye on Gregorius' situation. The team is also looking at Marcus Semien and Freddy Galvis as possible replacements if Gregorius signs elsewhere, a source told Lauber.
Gregorius slashed .284/.339/.488 with 10 home runs and 40 RBIs in 60 games for the Phillies last season. Meanwhile, Semien put up a .679 OPS in 53 contests with the Oakland Athletics after finishing third in AL MVP voting in 2019, and Galvis hit seven homers with a .712 OPS in 47 games for the Cincinnati Reds.
