The Oakland Athletics have reportedly agreed to a one-year contract with left-hander Brett Anderson, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN.

Terms of the deal are not yet known. Passan reports a physical is scheduled for Wednesday, though Anderson himself tweeted that he was keeping his "fingers crossed for a passed physical tomorrow."

Anderson spent the 2018 season with the Athletics after agreeing to a one-year, $1.5-million minor-league contract with the club last winter. He wound up making the majors, where he threw 80 1/3 innings over 17 starts, posting a 4.48 ERA and 4.17 FIP.

The 31-year-old made his major-league debut with the A's back in 2009. Over those five seasons, the oft-injured lefty authored a 3.81 ERA in 450 2/3 innings before going on to spend brief stints with the Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, and Toronto Blue Jays.
