FA Cup QF draw: Man City go to Bournemouth, Preston host Aston Villa
Manchester City will need to get past Bournemouth in the FA Cup quarterfinals to have any chance of collecting silverware in the 2024-25 season.
Elsewhere in Sunday's FA Cup draw, Fulham were rewarded with a visit from Crystal Palace immediately after their penalty shootout victory over holders Manchester United. Preston North End, the lowest-ranked team left in the FA Cup, will entertain Aston Villa in Lancashire.
Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town play Monday to determine who will face Brighton & Hove Albion on the south coast.
Manchester City won the competition in 2023 and were beaten finalists in 2024, but the other teams still standing have an opportunity to become a first-time winner or end a long FA Cup drought.
