FA Cup 3rd-round draw: Arsenal to face Man United, Liverpool get Accrington
Arsenal and Manchester United will meet in the third round of the FA Cup after the Premier League foes were drawn against each other Monday.
League Two's Accrington Stanley will travel to Anfield to take on Premier League leaders Liverpool. Manchester City will host Salford City - whose ownership group features ex-Manchester United players such as David Beckham and Gary Neville - at the Etihad Stadium.
Of the two non-league teams still standing in the competition, Tamworth were handed the most notable fixture with a visit from Tottenham Hotspur. Dagenham & Redbridge, who compete in the fifth tier with Tamworth, face a trip to Millwall.
Other standout David versus Goliath matches include Bromley playing at Newcastle United and Harrogate Town making the short journey to Leeds United.
The FA Cup third round will be contested between Jan. 9-13, 2025.
