WWE superstar Roman Reigns will not participate in WrestleMania, reports Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet.

Reigns was scheduled to face Goldberg for the WWE Universal Championship but will not take part due to concerns over the coronavirus outbreak.

WrestleMania was originally set to take place April 5 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa but was moved to the WWE's Performance Center in Orlando because of the pandemic. The company's biggest show on the calendar will now air over two days, April 4 and 5, on the WWE Network and will not feature any fans in attendance.

Reigns did not feel comfortable taking part in the event because he is immunocompromised due to his previous battles with leukemia, which would put him at greater risk if he was infected with COVID-19, according to Satin.

WWE will reportedly seek a replacement for the match against Goldberg.
