With the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro just over a month away, more concerns over violence were raised Wednesday as body parts were found near the beach volleyball venue in Copacabana.

A dismembered foot and other body parts were found washed ashore, and police told CNN's Tiffany Ap that the victim was a woman or young adult.

The discovery comes just days after first responders in the city greeted tourists with a "Welcome to Hell" sign at the airport. An estimated 85,000 police and soldiers will be on patrol during the Games, which are slated to open on Aug. 5. But, despite that number, there are still growing security concerns surrounding the embattled country.
