Chicago Sky general manager and head coach James Wade has agreed to a multi-year extension, the team announced Thursday.
"I truly appreciate the organization for trusting in me and seeing me as a part of their future," Wade said in a statement. "I feel extremely fortunate and am excited to lead this franchise to what we hope will be many successful seasons to come."
Wade, who was named the 2019 WNBA Coach of the Year, has guided Chicago to a 32-24 record and a pair of playoff appearances over his first two seasons at the helm.
The bench boss is now under contract with the Sky through the 2025 campaign.
