The Minnesota Lynx have acquired veteran guard Shenise Johnson and the 16th pick in the 2020 WNBA Draft in a trade with the Indiana Fever, the teams announced Friday.

In return, the Fever are receiving the 14th pick in 2020, which previously belonged to the New York Liberty, and a third-round selection in 2021.

Johnson posted career highs in points (11.3) and assists (2.5) per game in 2017 but missed the entire 2018 season to rehab an ACL injury. The 29-year-old suffered a substantial drop-off in 2019, averaging 4.9 points and 1.1 assists in 12.9 minutes per game before undergoing knee surgery in August.
