Team Finland will look to return to the podium at the upcoming 2019 World Junior Hockey Championship.

The squad released its training camp roster Monday, headlined by Rasmus Kupari, a first-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Kings last summer, and Kaapo Kakko, a projected top pick in the 2019 NHL entry draft.

The Finns will be without Jesperi Kotkaniemi (Montreal Canadiens), Miro Heiskanen (Dallas Stars), Henri Jokiharju (Chicago Blackhawks), and Urho Vaakanainen (Boston Bruins), all of whom are playing in the NHL this season.

Team Finland has claimed the gold medal in two of the past five world juniors but was eliminated in the quarterfinals at last year's tournament.
